Checking out blogging from my new iPad. Using the iPhone app. Sure wish they would make a blogger app just for iPad. Hope this works.

"Great Book Quotes"

"The Ten Commandments, word of God or crowd control?"

"Reading good books ruins you for enjoying bad books!"

"You could always tell when you were near a town from the bodies hanging on the gibbets by the main road,"

"As Raleigh Hayes did not drink, and as he found disturbing the mingling of foods customary in Asian cuisine - so many vegetables, meats, and noodles heaped communally together violated his sense of privacy-"

"I have often found that the most outspoken liberals are secretly the most conservative in small matters."

"7:18 p.m. My eyes are all swollen up like mice eyes from crying. Even my nose is swollen. It's not small at the best of times, but now it looks like I've got three cheeks. Marvelous. Thank you, God.

9:00 p.m. I'll never get over this.

9:10 p.m. Time goes very slowly when you're suicidal."

"Keep your weight down and your chin up - you'll get along.

"I've come to believe that how we choose to live with pain, or injustice, or death...is the true measure of the Divine within us."

"I am what God made me, and what I have made with the material He provided. But, you ask, can God use my flaws, which He is in no way responsible for? They are my own burden. The answer must be 'yes', if we allow. God will use all we permit Him to have. If we give him our weaknesses, he will use them as well as our strengths. The key is in giving them up....as I pray daily I may do."
